香雲紗千層底布靴(対臉縫い・黒/茶)

つま先の縫い目が、正面向きで合わさる。

対臉(たいれん)縫いは、つま先の甲面を左右の布から縫い合わせて形づくる中国布靴の伝統構造。縫い目が対(つい)をなして顔(かお)を合わせることからこの名で呼ばれます。その甲面に、薯莨(じょりょう)の汁で糸を染め、泥に晒して日光で仕上げた伝統絹織物香雲紗(こううんしゃ)を用い、靴底は布を何層も重ねて糸で縫い固めた千層底(せんそうてい)と組み合わせました。縫い上げた布底ならではの柔らかな履き心地と通気性で、蒸れにくく、素足に近い感覚で歩けます。
