Gambiered Silk Drawstring Shoulder Bag

One traditional motif on the deep luster of gambiered silk (xiangyunsha) — a small drawstring bag worn at the hip.

• Choose from 7 motifs — thangka mandala, green lotus floral, plain black, red "Fu" (fortune) character, money tree, golden bamboo, and the blue-green landscape of A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains
• The feel of gambiered silk — a traditional finish from Guangdong, China, in which fabric is dyed with shuliang (dioscorea) juice. Deep, lustrous color with its characteristic crackle texture
• Drawstring closure — simply pull the cords to close. Smartphone pocket inside
• Two slim straps, three ways — wear on the shoulder, crossbody, or carry by hand
• Lightweight at approx. 80g — also handy as a sub-bag for travel and outings

Carry just the essentials — phone, coins, lipstick — for light, easy outings. The calm tones pair easily with everyday clothes as well as kimono and Japanese-style accessories. Also a fitting gift for new beginnings and departures.
