Gambiered Silk Thousand-Layer Sole Slip-Ons (Men's)
Shuliang-dyed silk wrapping your feet.
Gambiered silk (xiangyunsha) is a traditional Chinese silk weave whose threads are dyed with shuliang juice, mud-mordanted and finished in sunlight. We turned fabric with golden cloud motifs floating on a black ground into a pair of cloth shoes. The sole is a thousand-layer sole (qiancengdi), many layers of cloth stitched fast with thread. Flexible and breathable, your feet stay cool and close to barefoot.

- Friendly for wide feet — a generous last (designed to suit wide feet)
As house shoes, and beyond — tai chi, zazen, tea gatherings, garden strolls, daily walks and travel. A pair in step with a zen everyday. The insole bears a cloud motif and small printed marks (actual design).
