Lion Dance Embroidered Coin Case (New Song Brocade)

The fortune-bringing lion, in the palm of your hand.

A coin case carefully embroidered with the face of the xingshi, the lion dance of southern China. On red woven ground: white brows and muzzle, blue and orange eye outlines, a blossom on the forehead — the elements of the lion's face drawn in many threads, with a single golden "Fu" (fortune) character at the mouth.

• Xingshi lion embroidery — the lion's face in white, blue, orange and gold threads, with a golden "Fu" at the muzzle
• New Song Brocade weave — a polyester-based weave carrying Song Brocade motifs into the present (not silk Song Brocade)
• Two sizes — Small (approx. 10 x 12cm) as a slim coin purse / Large (approx. 12 x 14cm) one size up
• Tassel and pom-poms — red tassel and white pom-poms sway as you walk
• With strap — carry it threaded through a bag or belt on its red strap

For a child's celebration with a gift of money inside. As a New Year present, a reward for yourself, or an everyday coin purse. A lion at hand for the days you want fortune on your side.
