Guizhou Indigo Buyi Embroidered Shoulder Bag
Flowers and stars in needlework on indigo handwoven cloth — the handwork of the Buyi people, passed down in the mountains of Guizhou, carried on your shoulder every day.
- Buyi hand embroidery: dragonfly, flower and star motifs stitched one by one on the front patchwork.
- Handwoven tubu cloth x indigo: rustic handwoven cloth (tubu) dyed deep indigo, growing more comfortable with use.
- Frayed (maobian) edges: deliberately frayed cloth edges add the warmth and character of handwork.
- Hand sewn: artisan stitching, with gentle irregularities that are part of the charm.
For commuting and outings alike. Make it the lead with a plain top, or add depth to Japanese-style dress. The deep indigo sharpens everyday outfits.
