Sandalwood & Urushi Gourd Crystal Bracelet
The warmth of sandalwood, a lacquer-and-gold gourd swaying, and crystals that catch light with every turn of the wrist.
- Natural urushi gourd charm — an approx. 3cm gourd finished in layered natural lacquer (daqi) with gold powder. In China the gourd is an auspicious charm inviting fortune and prosperity
- Choose from 3 sandalwoods — moist gold-thread sandalwood, calmly green sandalwood, warm-skinned white sandalwood. All are woods whose luster deepens with use
- The color of many treasures — clear crystal and pale pink natural stones scattered for accents of light against the calm of sandalwood
- Handwork, one by one — the lacquer beads are artisan-made, so no two patterns are alike (per supplier: a face unique in the world)
- Also a gift — delivered individually packaged (dedicated box). For birthdays and anniversaries
Quietly at home in everyday clothes, and a superb match for yukata and Japanese-style accessories. Natural wood, natural stone and lacquer — three materials layered in a New Chinese Style bracelet.
