Guizhou Indigo Embroidered Butterfly Charm

Flowers stitched one by one on deep indigo cloth — hand embroidery of the Buyi people of Guizhou, China, shaped into a butterfly.

• Folk embroidery on tie-dyed indigo fabric — deep navy cloth dyed with plant-based indigo, embroidered by hand with colorful threads of flowers. The look of the tie-dye and the embroidery differs from piece to piece
• A mugwort (artemisia) sachet — as the supplier's product name indicates (mugwort sachet), this butterfly charm carries on the Guizhou tradition of fragrant mugwort pouches
• With dangling bell and beads — pearl-like white beads and a small bell hang beneath the butterfly. With a metal ring, just hang it on a bag, pouch or keys for a small touch of color
• 5 embroidery colorways — type names are our own distinctions based on the embroidery colors in the photos (the supplier lists no color names; please check each product image for actual coloring)
• Hand-sewn work — the supplier lists the process as "hand-sewn." White stitching runs neatly around the edge

For bags, pouches, keys, or room decoration. The calm indigo tones pair easily with kimono and Japanese-style accessories — a small gift for birthdays or the New Year season.
