Guizhou Indigo Large Plush
Large cloth dolls in indigo-dyed cloth — mouse, bear and rabbit plush toys of Buyi handwork from Guizhou, China.
- Indigo-dyed bodies — deep indigo cotton cloth for the body, with white floral fabric on the ears and head.
- Three figures — a mouse lying down at about 52cm long, and a bear (approx. 50cm tall) and rabbit (approx. 50cm tall) sitting. Together they become part of the room's landscape.
- Button eyes and black nose — the mouse has black button eyes; the bear and rabbit have white. Simple, lovable faces.
- Handwork — as the product name states (handmade), stitching and expression vary from piece to piece.
- A presence for the room — large enough to place on a sofa, bedside or shelf.
The calm indigo settles naturally into Japanese-style spaces. As an accent for your room, or a gift for someone dear.
